i got a Question about my status extension. I matched early October 2023.

1. Period (first 4 month)
I had two turkish airlines bookings with whom I would earn a little more then 16.000 miles on Turkish metal within the 4 month. In the end I earned a little more then 9.000 miles on international flights with Turkish and a little more then 6.000 miles with a Lufthansa flight. The flight with Lufthansa was caused of a huge delay of the booked Turkish airlines flight where Turkish airlines rebooked me on Lufthansa. In the App it showed me “elite protection enabled” before the end of the 4 month period with in total over 16.000 miles and 4 international Turkish flights and 1 Lufthansa flight (rebooked from Turkish airlines itself).

2. Period ( 4th month till end of first year)
Early February I received from Miles&Smiles that my Status was extened by 2 years, because I reached the qualification miles. In the app it shows me now, that my status is valid till early October 2024 (1 Year extension in total) and it also shows me “elite protection enabled” which in my understanding means that my status will be extended on October 2024 to again 1 year (October 2025)? Im just confused because I didn’t flow 15.000 miles on Turkish international flights but I had bookings with over 15.000 miles. Does this now mean that I already successfully qualified for the second year of the status match because it says “elite protection enabled” or is this just a mistake and I still have to fly more then 15.000 miles with Turkish metal to get the second year? As I already have bookings on September with Turkish where I earn over 14.000 miles its not a big deal. Just want to know where I stand at the moment.

Im also not sure how to understand the qualification indicator in the homepage. It shows me that I need to earn 25.000 miles to protect my status which is already filled almost 70%. In the app it shows me that “elite protection is enabled”. What happens if I hit the 25.000 miles within the first year which I will reach before the end of first year ( I will have about 33.000 miles with 25.000 miles just collected on Turkish metal). Will my status then extended till early October 2026 or do I still have to collect 35.000 miles on second year for 2 more years extension?
