AA should get something out of the negotiations too. Raises by themselves don't improve service. DL flight attendants are very well compensated right now, but are lazier than ever. The airline needs to be able to enforce the service standards, period.
I feel that at DL, the pilots are helping with the lazy FA's by announcing rough air and having the FA's remain seated. All the while, not encountering any rough air.
