Could it be possible to have two adjoining rooms? Or a suite and adjoining room?
Incidentally, I returned to the hotel since the above post and while the Club Room I had on lower floor was so so (comfortable, but not not my style), the Grand Premier (or maybe a Club Room) on a higher floor was very nice, with a great sports club view. Club Lounge was a highlight. Overall it’s a good option in BKK that I had until recently somewhat forgotten about.
