Getting the best deal can get pretty complicated so i'm sharing this in case Europcar comes out cheapest and you think you want to try using Amex + Accor discount...

Amex Platinum (in Oz) offers:
- Accor Plus (Gold) membership -> 15% ish off Europcar via Accor Europcar Portal
- Car Rental Insurance

Issue: Europcar has 3 websites and it's difficult to get it to work:

Accor Europcar Portal: Offers 15% discount, full range of vehicles, Amex NOT accepted

Main Website with Accor Negotiated Rate applied (47582775): Offers discount, very limited vehicles, accepts Amex
europcar.com

Old Main Website with Accor Negotiated Rate applied (47582775): Offers discount, eclectic range of vehicles, Amex NOT accepted

Solution:

No perfect ending here unfortunately, any tips appreciated. Best option I found is to register for Europcar Privilege which gives you 10% discount. This can be used on the main website (code 50451503 if your Europcar login doesn't work on the new site) with Amex Plat.
