This is interesting, and I would curious to learn the grounds on which various platintiffs' claims were upheld or dismissed, and what the remedies have been. I suppose one could say that small claims court is the available "process" by which individuals who believe their individual circumstances warrant further consideration can get it.
Small claims court is a notorious crapshoot. None of those decisions are likely to mean much to the proposed class action being discussed.
