AA Hotels still offers pretty good LP's but only if you have an AA credit card. I got a Barclays in October for that reason (plus LPs accrued on charges). I had two hotel stays that generated 25k LPs plus credit card spend that will get me comfortably over the 125k I needed to retain PPRO.
Maybe I was being dense, I have a decent 700s score which would be higher had I agreed to pay the hospitals tons of money for a quick temperature and blood pulse check and a tiny half a Xanax. But I refused and took the hit. CreditKarma says AA offers 3 cards and they're all from Citi and says my odds of approval are LOW. You're telling me there's a Barclays one? Maybe I'll be eligible. Googling now. I have a 100 percent on time payment history. Does the Barclays one come with 20k LPs too if you're already at a certain threshold?
