Which one is a better route to go, FHR or STAR? FHR will be paid at the hotel (the AMEX Plat $200 credit is not a consideration), so no prepay.
Both rates include $100 credit and breakfast for 2. I am Titanium looking to stay at Ritz and StR. I will need 4pm late checkout which I should be granted as Titanium member.
My understanding is FHR pay at hotel is eligible for points and status benefit also.

Which rate will you choose?
