The hotel I want to book has quite a few options on the Marriott website and I'm not certain which one to book:
Option 1: (Under Deals and Packages, 205 USD Avg/Night after taxes and fees)
Work from anywhere, includes American breakfast for 2 guests daily, 20 pct discount off in Lunch & Dinner, see Rate details - Classic, Guest room, 1 King, Ocean view

- Long Term stay with American Breakfast for up to two adults.
- Extra person or Kids breakfast not included.
- 20 percentage discount in additional Meals and Drinks consumptions. Minimum stay required of 5 nights or more. Not valid for groups of 10 rooms and more. Cancel 7 days prior date of arrival to avoid cancellation fees of 1 night plus tax.

- Pay only $43 now (deposit)
- Pay the rest on March 28, 2024
- Cancel until March 28, 2024 (deposit non-refundable)
$183 / night VAT included -
Room Only - Classic ocean view king bed
- FREE cancellation before March 28, 2024
- Pay on March 28, 2024
My questions to maximize the chance of my BRG request getting approved:
- Which option should I bookon Marriott and which option on competing site should I pick? Do I have to pick the lowest refundable Marriott rate aka Work from anywhere (even though it includes breakfast and the competing site doesn't)? Or should I book the Member Flexible Rate because the terms are more similar to the competing site?
- Can I match the $175 / night rate since the $43 deposit is negligible? Or do I have to match the $183/night rate since it says "FREE cancellation"?
