i went to YUL last year to visit great city for 2 night before going to Europe (I'm US citizen). I recall see sign "connections" before going to immigration area. so if i want to book YUL-DOH on separate ticket after PHL-YUL. Can I stay airside and going through connections only? I'll have carryon only with me.
