Here is the kicker, I don't live in any of those three places I will preposition to LA, and see some friends. The SFO arrival is scheduled for 1120pm or so. UA has a flight to NY leaving at 1145pm, which would give me about 10 minutes before door closure. Hopefully it arrives early. Worst case, I also have DL first flight to NY at 650am next morning. Area airport hotels are $200+/night...woof...may have to camp out at SFO for a few hours, which I have never done before.
Are you by chance on 2/29 FLL SFO?

I am a SFO camp out pro. Home is two hours south, so if I arrive late, I have to catch the once a day Amtrak in the morning. The Crowne Plaza SFO with shuttle service is usually cheap on points, 17k-20k. That's $85-$100 all-in if you purchase points right now assuming the 100% bonus is still going.

AS/DL are T2 and UA is T3. I don't think you'll make it, but hope you do. Here are a few photos of past SFO sleeps in case you get stuck.

AS T2 airside food court. Shallow bench seating better for the slender, of which I am not. (Excuse the backpack. This was a photo for a FB bag group I'm in.)

UA T3 airside. Flat roomy sleeping surface.

International landside food court.
