I have frequently felt forced to cancel my order before the main course has been served on BA and Delta because they mess around with a slow separate drink service and serve individual courses. To make matters worse, their typical lounges on the West Coast do not offer decent pre-flight meals. I rate business class based on the quality and length of sleep.
there have always been passengers that prefer express dining, and UA’s offer of that service was welcomed by those passengers. Not everyone wants that kind of service, and now that’s the only option. Good for you, but bad for everyone else.
