Thank you for checking potential flights! I will keep an eye on my preferred date, but may not be easy finding 4 business seats on the same LAX-HND flight. I remember reading that partner flights cannot be tacked onto a dynamically priced award itinerary solely on AA metal.

BA.com shows the JTA awards (I can book with Avios) but AS also doesn't show them.
No worries. I am happy flying from ITM since it looks closer to Osaka than KIX. The only slight downside is no lounge access even with Priority Pass. Now to figure out how to spend half a day in Osaka as a first-timer.
