If you look at the transaction details for those points under your BAEC account statement that should clearly show when they were credited.
Honestly I'm not certain about whether it told me I'd retained gold. I want to say yes, but I'd be lying if I said I was 100% sure.
I have checked the statement though, and it was 21st Dec 2022 - which is in my 2023 year as it's after my 9th Dec reset.
