A320 Economy Plus to evolve to Royal Silk

From THAI’s Facebook feed:

”THAI Airways International Public Company Limited proudly announces the inauguration of enhanced services on its A320 aircraft, expanding the connectivity of its global route network. The 'ONE THAI > ONE FLY' event signifies a strategic step forward after the successful business restructuring.

Presided over by Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, THAI Chairman of the Plan Administrators, and attended by key figures such as Mr. Chansin Treenuchagron, THAI Plan Administrator, and Mr. Chai Eamsiri, THAI Chief Executive Officer, this milestone emphasizes THAI's commitment to meeting passenger demands on a global scale.

Post-restructuring, THAI now operates flights to domestic and international destinations previously serviced by THAI Smile Airways, leveraging 20 A320 aircraft acquired from the airline. This managerial consolidation optimizes THAI's route network, enhances fleet efficiency, and reinforces the airline's competitiveness in cost management and market segmentation.

Mr. Korakot Chatasingha, THAI Chief Commercial Officer, underscores the airline's dedication to delivering a seamless travel experience with an expanded network. The recent fleet growth underlines the 'ONE THAI ONE FLY' concept, with A320s servicing domestic routes and international destinations, including Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Taipei, India, Nepal, and more.

Featuring Economy and Economy Plus classes, THAI A320 aircraft will offer a refined travel experience, with the latter evolving into the Royal Silk Class post-retrofit. Passengers can anticipate a wireless inflight entertainment system, allowing them to connect personal devices for an enhanced onboard experience.
