PE on BA is pretty similar to PE on UA - significantly more comfortable than economy and significantly better food. It makes an eastbound TATL tolerable.

That said, BA will charge you to select a seat so you will likely get stuck in the middle if you don’t want to pay even more and it’s operationally very unreliable so I can’t really recommend it.
