Just when you thought (hoped) NYE was long gone...

I checked out of a 3+ month stay in January. It was all on one folio with no checking out and back in again during the stay.

The stay did not credit automatically and my Ambassador had to add it manually.
The nights have posted as expected, split between each calendar year. But only a small fraction of the total folio spend has credited to this year. I was expecting the full amount. My Ambassador is saying that only spend from 1 Jan onwards will credit to this year.

Before I push back (again), does anyone know if there has been a change of policy regarding spend qualifying dates?

I have searched but not spotted written confirmation of the spend qualifying dates. I'd be really grateful if someone can point me in the right direction, in case there's been an error or misunderstanding (on either side)
