I think we have decided to start heading inland (with an overnight in Tamworth) from Sydney, and then drive through the mountain range towards the coast via Dorrigo to then hit Coffs Harbour -> Yamba (maybe spend some time on the coast). Then drive up towards the Sunshine coast before turning around to hit Brisbane, where we have 3 nights booked before heading back to SYD by air.
