Does your cell provider allow WiFi calling? Which model phone are using? Several options to use a domestic sim internationally with no roaming charges.
I use my iPhone 14 configured with a local sim to send and receive using my US number with no roaming fees. Before dual sim iPhones, I used WiFi calling by connecting my US phone to the hotspot of my international local phone. With dual sim iPhones, I do this in one phone.
