On the life assurance being not such a good deal any more, has anyone else been pestered to fill in a form setting out financial information (assets, liabilities, income, outgoings) as a condition of the grant of cover? This hadn't happened to me before, but this time around I'm being told I have to provide this information if I want a policy, and frankly NU can p!ss off if they want this level of detail for a fiver a month. Cynically, is it just another ploy to discourage people from taking out policies?
