I had a smooth Transit in BOM. Thanks to posts here, finding my way to the transit desk after immigration and customs was quick. Bag drop was efficient.

Getting from there to the domestic security gates was a long trek up and across the terminal.

The one take away I have is the amount of walking from arriving flight to immigration, then to the domestic security and again to the domestic gates

I realized at domestic security that I had left something behind either on my inbound flight to BOM on AI or at a lounge in my origin airport. getting hold of someone on AI that would go and check my incoming plane proved impossible

Lost and found procedures seem Byzantine and opaque.

Aside from that, no complaints
