But knowing the state of HK's IT - CX, AAHK or otherwise, I don't think you can make the assertion that the system works but just it had an off day - the presumption is the other way round.
when you are flying between 2 countries.. Half of the work is done by the outport... For your CTS case, my last flight to CTS 2 weeks ago, the one of my first class tagged bag was the first to come off the luggage belt, but the 2nd bag also with first class tag came out in the middle along with economy bags... Both were sent in at the exact same time at the first class check in at HKG.. so should the blame be on HKG, CTS, on CX or on the airport baggage handlers? I don't know, but it was obvious having the physical priority tag may or may not have helped the 1st bag, but obviously did nothing to help the 2nd one.... Would you blame CX, HKG or CTS for my 2nd bag?
