I’m actually doing this just as a refundable backup for something else but it’s really good to hear it’s not difficult and that there are good options. Time between arrival of BA flight and departed of LY flight is about 4.5hrs — unfortunately the LCA-TLV leg is more expensive than you found but that’s to be expected because it’s for travel just before Passover.
