I did, was gold from being aeroplan 50k last year but that just got reset this month and now I’ve lost it since I mostly flew Air France this past year because of work. I do have a whole bunch of aeroplan miles that I am just unable to find a good reward to use, a good amount of United miles and flying blue ones as well, but really hard to make good use of them.
Because if you have of course you can board early too and they do give you lounge access. Otherwise PE boards last in EVA. It is not actually a problem as the crew are very strict with the overhead baggage compartment and they do not let economy passengers put their carry on there unless the PE passengers are seated and space is available.
How is Air France? I have to buy tickets on other airlines as sometimes EVA is way too expensive and AF is available but I never fly via Europe for a long time. It is either via the Middle East or over the Pacific.
