Yes, the J breakfast changed a few months ago.
Actual cheese in the J omelet has never really been a thing except for some catering one-offs.
I know your post was merged (appropriately) with this thread, so if you look upthread we have talked about this.

More importantly, were your has browns mushy or crispy?
