True....they use to be pretty flexible but I don't have any recent data points other than rumors that they were less willing to change routing on SDC. I think if you can make a strong argument, you may have better success. For example, the only non-stop flight from RDM or MFR to PDX leaves around 7am so if you want to SDC to a later flight you need to go via SEA which I'm guessing they might be willing to do.
