Same here when it comes to Uber credits (as I’m always going to/from the airport) and the dining credit on the Bonvoy Brilliant.
What has a bit less utility is the new Delta Stays hotel credit- since elite benefits generally aren’t honored on third party bookings. I suppose it may be good for those rare times when due to location I’m staying in an independent hotel.
That's exactly how I would consider using the Delta Stays credit: a one-off stay at a non-Marriott hotel. I hit that dead zone of 100+ nights but not $23K spend, where I'm stuck at Titanium but won't reach Ambassador. So, shifting 1-2 nights to a one-off stay non-Marriott where I get $200 in credit is still a pretty good win, with little opportunity cost.
