So I have a confirmed renteal for 10AM-10AM while I will pick-up the car around 11:30 and return it around 2PM.
Should I update the reservation (I cannot do it online) or would it be better to make a new reservation with the correct times, or just leave it like that?
If it were us we wouldn't bother. Avis will just adjust it automatically. You usually get a 29-minute grace period anyway, so if you end up picking up a little later than planned and/or dropping off a little earlier than planned, you may end up just paying the original rate. If not, Avis will adjust it automatically, but in our opinion, the smart move is to just leave things as-is. Not having the hassle of trying to change it is a bonus.
