OP is right - Marriott is far stronger in Poland, Budapest, Bratislava, etc - some countries are still gaps - but meaningful progress is being made with Marriott adding hotels in Albania, etc - vs. Hyatt which seems inclined to continue adding all-inclusives that don't provide value to a large section of travelers who aren't looking for resort vacations. Perhaps, Mr. and Mrs. Smith will change that, but I don't know much about their footprint or the benefits scheme that will exist with that partnership. If it's like SLH, then that would be a big fail in my book.
