It makes requalifying difficult even for those willing to stay in lindner properties or ones that are out of the way. Perhaps we will see some agressive expansion with hotel chains like lindner in germany at other european destinations, while not luxury it would help 😀
I know that people like to bash Hyatt as being "weak in Europe". Hard to disagree. But the reality is that there aren't many major chain hotels across vast swathes of Europe.

So you either accept the fact that Hyatt treats elites better because it's harder to remain loyal, or you switch to another hotel chain which BTW doesn't have hotels everywhere in Europe either...
