In the past few months, I’ve noticed a significant change in the way Amex Offers work. In the past, if I had a given offer on more than one card, selecting it on one card would (almost?) invariably cause the offer to disappear from any other cards.
I’m now seeing identical offers persist, making it possible to opt into a given offer on multiple cards. This appears to be a permanent change.
Since I've had an Amex, I've often seen them be available on both my primary plat card, as well as my wife's AU card. In fact, many offers are duplicated. Not all, but many. I've also used a few on both cards. In fact, remember a couple of times specifically....we split payment on a stay at Sheraton in Maui to get the cash back on a single stay. I also remember using it on both cards successfully for the Walmart offer from early last year, I think it was - bought a few gift cards and it worked - forget the exact offer though.
