Go and buy the ticket, I am sure you will love the first class service on Emirates, look what mogensen wrote in one of his threads:

Ok now let’s get on with the best part of this EK F experience. Boarding the aircraft went smoothly was greeted by name after showing my boarding card slip when entering the F cabin. The flight was an A332. My coat was taken and I settled in the seat, the legroom once again impressed me. However I was happy I hadn't taken a seat in row 1, as you because of the wall in front of you don't get the same roomy feel as in row 2.

A cabin attendant from South Africa introduced herself and offered me the choice between orange juice, a nonalcoholic fruit cocktail (quite nice actually) and the thing a had to try a glass of Dom Perignon 1996 champagne. Together with this they served a small plate with a great variety of salted and roasted nuts. Another round was offered of drinks, and shortly before leaving the gate, Arabic coffee and wonderfully sweet dates were served, also a very hot towel was offered, impressed and ready for my "safari" (travel in Swahili language).

Wine and menu cards were passed around, together with the special packaged first class entertainment guide. Once airborne a selection of pre dinner drinks were offered, and shortly hereafter dinner service was presented, and for the next couple of hours I was eating great food, wonderful Arabian shrimps, 3 times the size of the ones we can buy here in Denmark and great main courses and deserts.

I found the food on this segment to be wonderful, and plentiful. The four FAs who were in the F cabin did a wonderful job, especially one of them was very knowledgeable about the wines and food, and this was a joy to experience.

Also I really enjoyed the entertainment. The screens in first class have a nice big size that enables you to recline far back and still have the possibility of watching the movie. Also the noise reducing headphones were offered, and these were so great (my first experience with these - and I definitely must get such a pair, however I wonder if they work just as well for train and bus travel?).

No amenity kit was offered, seems as these are only offered on maybe slightly longer routes? Or maybe only on overnight flights.

I found the seat to be great, and the recline so great that I could easily get some sleep. I must admit the 150$ difference on this routing (CAI-DAR) between J and F was worth paying, and if I had that opportunity I would do it again.
