You wouldn't clear security as you would be arriving from the USA, nor passport control. You might have time for a brief hop to the lounge, however, depending on your arrival and departure gates which are assigned randomly, you might need to walk about 20-25 minutes maximum ( usually much shorter though ).
Thanks. I'm looking forward to the transfer because I haven't been to the new IST yet.
I should have plenty of time for the following flights (ATH-IST-HKG), with a 5 hr layover at IST, to experience the TK lounge. I used to like the TK lounge at the old IST a lot, except the wait for a shower (or sleeping room) used to be very long at peak times. How is that situation now at the new IST?
