Interesting... I just got my emails for my upcoming stay. The stay is broken into two reservations because of the credit card nights. On one stay I've been "upgraded" to a Resort View. On the other stay I've been "upgraded" to a Partial Ocean View. Both appear to be regular rooms - i.e., not real upgrades - but in my experience anything that is called "partial" ocean view usually doesn't have much of a view of anything.

We won't be spending much time in the room. We certainly don't want to switch rooms during the stay. No upgrade choices were offered to us through NOR1 even if we wanted to pay for one. Guessing I'll just OLCI and select a Resort View room (since that's the first reservation) and ask the FDC to keep us there for the whole stay. Guessing that won't be a problem since a lot of guests would view the Partial Ocean View as the "better" room.
