I will be meeting a tour that begins in Xi’an in October. I’ll most likely fly on two separate PNRs, DFW-PVG and PVG-XIY. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to stay overnight at/near Shanghai Airport? I’ll arrive around 2 PM and departure the next day depends on which airline I book. My choices are China Southern, China Eastern, Air China International, Juneyao, Hainan, and Sichuan. China Eastern has several flights so that would be my first choice unless I hear some reason not to.

Since I’m a Senior woman traveling alone I want to maximize safety and convenience. Most of the reviews I’ve read aren’t very flattering. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.
