I fly to BNA monthly on a consultants schedule and haven’t seen this. The club does get crowded as one would expect timed with other road warriors.

Re food… I generally find it better than ATL, and on par with ORD.

My only nit is there isn’t enough private space to hold phone calls without bothering others. There are two privacy booths but people seem to camp out in them.
