I would not fear getting kicked out of those seats, so I would remain in the exit row if it was me.
I have OW status through RJ and have previously inserted my RJ FF number to select exit row on a BA and subsequently remove the RJ FF to insert my BA EC number in order to obtain Avios and Tier points, and that has never caused an issue with the seats.
Nowadays I swap the numbers from the lounge but I have not had any issues with being kicked out of seats after removing my RJ FF number.
