Well that was the whole point of this post. According to a post upthread only the approx $600 f&b spend gets points. My spa, diving, and seaplane don’t. Plus an article i just read said no points on taxes. This whole thing is getting super complicated.
So my f&b spend was about $600, with I think 18% tax and 10% service charge. I get 18 points/$ as a gold member. The only way I can make this make any sense is to think that I only got points on the base f&b and not on the taxes or service charge, and possibly even not on tip! Then the math kinda works. If I get perturbed enough I’ll put everything into a spreadsheet and see if it works.
So gurus, does what I am saying make sense? Points only on f&b spend, excluding tax, service charge and tips?
