Sadly, no. Your status is only valid at check-in/time of flight. I had something similar where I dropped to silver the day before a flight, but my digital card was still showing gold. It updated and the new status was reflected. I couldn't get in to the F lounge, for example, as I'd lost gold. You'd have the same issue with luggage at check-in as they'd check your status on that day, not when you booked.
