If you go through the process of making a flight only booking, at the screen confirming the total cost you get the option to add a car or hotel. You can then click “View all flight and hotel options” (or car options) and you get moved across to a BAHs screen with your previously chosen flights moved across into it.

I’ve used this method to book mixed classes for a BAHs booking i.e. F out CW return, which isn’t possible if you start the booking process using the “Flight + Hotel/Car” option.

The tickets buckets selected during the flight only process (e.g. A and I) seem to have stuck and the BAH trip been priced accordingly.

If using this method and you deliberately selected certain ticket buckets for an economy booking, would they then stick when you click to “View all flight and hotel options”? Or would they be changed in the background to economy ticket buckets specific for BAHs bookings?
