Just a quick update.

I am currently on a 5 nights award stay (150K) as a diamond member. Point redemption was reasonable compared with other options (Curio, Tapestry, and DT). I do agree with most of the folks that it is not as centrally located in Taipei compared to other options, but I am glad that I have given this location a chance. MRT is a very convenient access and very close to hotel. Once you understand how to navigate through color coding routes traveling in Taipei is very manageable. Alternatively, you can always take Uber to get around. There are few night markets around the area including Banqiao Nanya Night Market, Yumin Night Market, and there are more famous ones but will require some planning.

As far as room wise, booked standard (40 sq m/430 sq ft) and was upgraded to 25th level. The room is reasonable size with both walk-in show and separate bath tub. My room also included a smaller bed by the window for a child, but I just used as an additional seating for window view to the city. Room included Nespresso coffee pods and machine and the fridge included 4 soft drinks. Internet is reasonably fast with 26M down and 25M up.

Lounge offering is not as extensive as other places that have lounge in Asia, but coming from US where most of the lounges are closed due to Covid and have never return to operational, I am grateful for having a place to grab coffee & soft drinks as well as some snacks. Breakfast in second floor was included as part of my status, but folks that have access to lounge can certainly get their breakfast as well. Buffet Breakfast on second floor was reasonable as they were catered to more Asian audience, but there are western options as well. I believe that you can also request cook to order food including omelets station as well as noodle station. Overall, buffet breakfast has enough options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian as they are clearly marked on the sign.

Will take a look at the pool once is operational after 2/2.

I did noticed that there's another thread talking about Hilton Properties in Taipei that may be useful for some folks looking for options -> HERE.
