Data point from a friend. ~2m annual spend for his company. That’s grown but been positive and consistent for several years. According to him he pulled a move he learned from me and was emailing the Amex CEO (likely someone from his office…..) about resolving some other issues, and dropped in the lack of an invite. His issues were resolved and an invite arrived the next day. He does personal shopping and fashion consulting so….extremely high spend at designers like hermes, Chanel, and Saks/Neimans/etc….
