United Airlines, the dominant carrier at SFO, said last week that it will “
fly a much-reduced domestic schedule in San Francisco” due to runway construction that is underway. Alaska said it’s doing the same.
“Similarly to other large carriers at SFO, we are working closely with the airport and FAA to reduce our schedule and meet the required capacity cuts until the taxiway improvement project is completed,” Alaska told the Business Times. SFO is Alaska's main hub in the Bay Area, and it's the airport's second-largest airline by domestic and international seats after United.

Both Alaska and United declined to publicly discuss which flights and destinations are affected by the reduced service.
