Transit time in Frankfurt. Is 1:45 minutes enough?

Good evening,
Lufthansa has changed my booking for unknown reasons. I initially booked flight LH965 from Edinburgh to Frankfurt leaving at 5:50 and then I was supposed to get the flight from Frankfurt to Baku, LH612. The booking is for the middle of March.

However, Lufthansa has moved the flight to Baku to a later time and assigned me a new flight from Edinburg to Frankfurt, leaving at 12:40. Actually, if you ask for further options to Lufthansa, they can still give you LH965 departing at 5:50. They still sell tickets for that flight too so I'm not exactly sure why the email informed me that LH965 was cancelled. Is that because the second leg was moved at a later time and the layover would be almost 9 hours if I left with the 5:50 flight?

My issue is that I'll have only 1:45 minutes for the layover. I should not go through passport control, but security checks might take time. Last time that I had a layover in Frankfurt back in 2022, I barely managed to get on the second leg of my trip (Frankfurt- Linate in that case) but my luggage didn't make it...
It was still the pandemic period though so that might have been the issue.

My question is: I know that officially 1 hr is enough in Frankfurt, but is there any risk of missing the flight Frankfurt - Baku or that my luggage won't make it if I have only 1 hr 45 minutes? On the one hand, I don't want to take such a risk, on the other hand, I don't want to spend almost 9 hours in Frankfurt. It will be middle of March so maybe there won't be weather-related issues?

Can you please advise?

Many thanks
