What has happened so far is the latter, furthermore, Safran has the perfect excuse in the supply chain, that according to aircraft interior manufacturers, everyone involved seemed to die of COVID and took with them the knowledge to make a chair decent for airplane
I think they were interested in the first two, but number three still not having engines seems to indicate that they are not particularly in a rush. It is not like the 77W fleet is at the end of possible service life, or a particularly low performing aircraft. Or is Rolls Royce as unreliable as Safran?
The plane to become JA03WJ was first spotted in full paint without engines on August 28th. Even with the engines mounted soon there is not a lot of leeway to get that delivered by 31.03
