The only red flag I see in your itinerary is the BMW3 rental. I would be sure it's an "xDrive" (all wheel drive) version for snow and ice.
A two wheel drive BMW, with its vast amount of power off the line, is not a good snow car and I would avoid it unless you are a skilled snow/ice driver.
