I am highly sensitive sleeper and I've never struggled at Café Royal, floors are properly done (no creaking which you find at eg Connaught), proper thick doors and never hear noise from neighbouring rooms either (or street). In fact, you reminded me of my why I really do prefer the hotel. Breakfast isn't bad but it is situated at the Mezzanine above reception so there's quite a lot of noise and as a result of the space, often feels packed.

Can't comment on the suites as we rarely book suites (and not at CR). Not sure what you mean by industrial (the stone wall? which is a bit weird) but overall the hotel hits many of my notes of good design.
Quiet: Excellent!

Breakfast food: Isn't bad isn't exactly a ringing endorsement. If the breakfast room is a problem there's always room service, at which point the food quality becomes the major factor.

Industrial: Yes, the stone walls, which are a bit weird. In addition to appearance, I'd think they'd be an issue for acoustics and noise?

They have good pastry chefs, if Bake Off: The Professionals is to be believed.
