I guess IanWorthingtonmeans the latest policy change about re-routing only AAdvantage members also on other airlines in case of IRROPS, while the rest of the passengers are limited to AA and JV partners. There was a blog post about it, probably there is also something in the AA forum but I don't have the time to search for it.
