How's the breakfast food? Presumably there's room service.
Are the rooms quiet, especially at night?
I see they offer a car and driver for the suites, at least on the days I looked, which can be convenient. I wonder if that includes driving to LHR at checkout, or even pickup before checkin.
Rosewood is convenient to the British Museum, which is a plus for us.
Indeed, British Museum is about the only thing (but I am also biased having lived in SW1 for years and never really venturing to Holborn area).
I am highly sensitive sleeper and I've never struggled at Café Royal, floors are properly done (no creaking which you find at eg Connaught), proper thick doors and never hear noise from neighbouring rooms either (or street). In fact, you reminded me of my why I really do prefer the hotel. Breakfast isn't bad but it is situated at the Mezzanine above reception so there's quite a lot of noise and as a result of the space, often feels packed.
Can't comment on the suites as we rarely book suites (and not at CR). Not sure what you mean by industrial (the stone wall? which is a bit weird) but overall the hotel hits many of my notes of good design.
