I was going to stay at this hotel last month but they emailed me about a week before check in saying the nightly rate was a mistake. They would not honor the rate and told me to rebook at the current rate (almost 300 USD a night). I declined to do so. The email was in chinese and it came from an address that didn't look all that official. It could have been easily missed if I didn't pay attention to it. We ended up staying in Daan area but did take the train to the aquarium and we passed by banqiao. I am glad we didn't stay at this hotel, the location would have been terrible for us. It is not close to the places we wanted to go to and the trains took a lot of time. It didn't seem like it would have been bad based on googling the travel times for trains/taxi.
