I would really appreciate some insight from the experienced flyers here:
I’m looking to fly from JFK-TPE this April, and there are no more z availability at the moment after calling Eva. I do however still see around 15 business class seats available as of now, so I wonder:
1. Should I purchase an economy B class and continue to try my luck with the SAUA via United hoping more z availabilities may open up closer to departure, and if not, pay the price difference to upgrade to PE last minute likely at a higher price than the lowest PE price available today, or
2. purchase a basic PE now and wait for the upgrade price bid just before departure?
Any insights would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance.
